General Volunteers

General volunteers are volunteers who assist in different and various ways, including greeting, registering, and monitoring museum guests, keeping the museum organized, and assisting docents with tours, educational programs, and events.

Special Event Volunteers

Special volunteers assist with special events being held at the museum.  Special events include educational and cultural programs as well as fundraisers.

Rev. Thelma Shaw Young Society

Rev. Thelma Shaw Young Society volunteers work as docents, leading tours and interpreting information for museum guests and groups.  Docents are a part of the fabric of the museum.  Their primary responsibility is to provide an excellent and interesting educational experience for museum guests.
